This workshop will focus on understanding financial terminology, with definitions and simple breakdowns for everyday terms that we are expected to know as consumers and users, but no one ever really teaches. What does it mean to save or invest? What are assets? Liabilities? Equity? What does it mean when someone says that their money is liquid? How do I figure out my net worth, and what does that even mean? We will answer all of these questions and much much more! We will also learn how to create a budget using the 50/30/20 rule, budgeting best practices, and why you need a budget in the first place!
